Outstanding Performance The BlueOptics BO05C156E0 Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Transceiver with LC Duplex connection from CBO is designed for Long-Range Singlemode Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), Gigabit Fibre Channel over Ethernet (GB FCoE), or OC-24/STM8 SDH/SONET high-speed applications of up to 1.25 Gigabit per second. Versatile Applications The BO05C156E0 SFP transceiver has a receiving function (Receiver) and a transmitting function (Transmitter) for the transmission of optical signals via single-mode fiber optics. This is done considering the respective Gigabit protocol, such as the Gigabit Ethernet standard 802.3z. The BO05C156E0 SFP modules are suitable for use in switches, routers, storage systems and other hardware in the third optical window at 1550nm. The connection is made via an optical fiber patch cable, to a patch panel or directly to another transceiver. Using the digital diagnostics function, compliant with MSA SFF-8472, the BO05C156E0 SFP transceivers can output the following information in real time: power supply, laser quiescent current, laser output power, laser input power, and temperature.
