The M.2 SSD MTE712A from Transcend is a self-encrypting drive (SED) that meets TCG Opal 2.0 standards. Data is protected with hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption and LBA (Logical Block Address) sector-specific permissions.
The MTE712A features 112-layer 3D NAND flash and the PCI-Express interface (PCIe) Gen 4 x4, achieving unprecedented transfer speeds. The built-in DRAM cache allows for faster random speeds, while the 30-goldfinger PCB, corner-bond technology, and anti-sulfur resistance guarantee its reliability under harsh conditions. The MTE712A is fully tested in-house and operates stably in an extended temperature range (-20 - 75).
